The Indian River County Bar Association Celebrates Law Week 2008

The Indian River County Bar Association will host a series of Law Week events beginning April 28th through May 2nd. The hallmark of local Law Week activities is a phone-in TV show scheduled to air live on Comcast Channel 28 on Wednesday, April 30th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Lawyers practicing in areas of law such as foreclosure, criminal law, employment law, family law, wills, estate planning, real estate, business disputes, personal injury, landlord-tenant issues and more will take calls and answer questions. People can call (772) 564-4800 to participate in the televised program. On Thursday, May 1st from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., the local Bar will sponsor a free event at the Indian River County Courthouse Law Library. Local residents will have the opportunity to speak with lawyers face-to-face. Residents are encouraged to come to the event to ask lawyers any and all legal questions. The giving will continue with a Blood Drive later in the week. On Friday, May 2nd from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m., the Indian River Blood Bank’s Bloodmobile will be stationed behind the county courthouse.
